Classically styled and channeling your need for speed, the Invicta Speedway Chronograph S watch for men (model 9223) offers a bold accent to both business wear and casual dress. The three chronograph subdials can measure time within intervals of 1/60 of a second and up to 30 minutes of elapsed time, and it features start, stop, and reset functions. The round silver stainless steel watch case measures 43mm (1.69 inches) with engraved units per hour markings on the bezel. It has a black dial background with silver subdials, luminous Tritnite hands (with seconds hand), and small minute indexes. Other features include an anti-reflective mineral crystal, silver stainless steel bracelet band, date function at 4 o'clock, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet).Instructions for Operating the Chronograph FunctionUnscrew the top crown at the 2 o'clock position. The subdial at 6 o'clock is the 60-second chronograph timer. Push the crown, once unscrewed, to start the timer. After one revolution, or 60-seconds, the hand at the 9 o'clock subdial will increase by one minute. The chronograph function is good measuring elapsed time of a maximum of 60 minutes. The subdial at 3 o'clock is for a 24-hour time function, and not part of the chronograph function.

Just received this stunning Invicta Speedway chronograph today, and I must say that I'm genuinely impressed. This black-faced watch crafted in solid stainless steel has exceeded my expectations for any timepiece at the $130 price point. For starters, the watch comes housed in a bright yellow box with black lettering and logo on the top. Once open, the Speedway greets you while wrapped around a velvet-like pillow of the same case color (real classy).
Finding the owner's manual and warranty papers is kinda tricky...they are hidden behind the 'ceiling' panel of the box. The manual instructions are broad, but I didn't have any problems getting the watch started....ON WITH THE WATCH!
The Speedway's heft is good...does not feel cheap or loose at all. You can really feel the weight of the center-piece. The links are solid and brushed stainless steel, while the center has a polished effect. The clasp locks securely and has no obvious weaknesses.
I chose the 9223 because of the high degree of contrast between the subdials, tick marks, and face. The polished stationary bezel greatly complements the silver subdials, which with the 9223 face, add a pleasing pop...even from far. Engraving all around the watch is superb.
Movement of the watch, so far, seems to be right on the money. Although the sweep of the second hand is not entirely in line with the tick marks, timing is adequate as far as I know.
Overall, this watch is a great deal for the price, and I don't think you can get quality like this with any other brand without shelling out hundreds or thousands more.

Wow! This watch is absolutely beautiful. It is packaged in a great yellow box and as soon as you take the watch out of the box, your just amazed by the look and feel. I bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day, unsure if he would like it as he is very picky about gifts, especially watches, and he loved it. We actually took it to a jeweler to get a couple of links taken out for him and the jeweler told us it looked exactly like a Rolex Daytona and wanted to know where I bought it because Invicta's are so hard to find. It truly is a wonderful watch.
